PHILADELPHIA – Women's gymnastics welcomed Maryland, Bridgeport, and Southern Connecticut State inside McGonigle Hall on Thursday night as they scored 195.775. Maryland won the meet with a 196.550, SCSCU scored 188.950, and Bridgeport finished in fourth place with a 186.450.
HOW IT HAPPENED
> Owls' Ariana Castrence earned the victory on the vault with a career-high 9.9, marking the third time this season that the senior earned the win on the apparatus. She also tied her career-high during the all-around with a 39.275, marking the second in her she's hit this mark, and the second time this season a Temple gymnast would tie the third-best score in school history.
