Gymnastics Scores 194.875, Downed at George Washington Tri-Meet

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Sunday, at the George Washington Tri-Meet, the Temple gymnastics team fell to No. 29 NC State (196.025), and the host team, Colonials (195.825) at the Smith Center with a score of 194.875.

HOW IT HAPPENED
> Temple senior Ariana Castrence competed in the all-around for the second time this season as won with a score of 39.200, tying the eighth-best score in program history. The Walfdorf, Md. native earned wins on the vault and the uneven bars.
> The Owls started slow with scores in the 48's in the first two rotations (beam, floor), but turned it around on the final two rotations (vault, bars) with scores in the 49's.
