Watchung, N.J. – Temple Golf's hot start to the season continued Sunday as the Owls shot a two-under 282 to lead the 12-team field at the Cornell Invitational. Conor McGrath also stayed red-hot, shooting a three-under 68 at the 6,911-yard, par-71 Watchung Valley Golf Club and sits in third place overall.
Recapping Day One
> McGrath, who was 13-under at the GolfWeek Fall Challenge, had six birdies on the day. He had four of his birdies in a six-hole stretch (9-14) to go to four-under, before dropping a stroke with a bogey on the 336-yard, par-four 15th.
