WILLIAMSBURG, VA – Temple turned in a solid first round of play at the competitive Kingsmill Intercollegiate, placing 10th in the 22-team field at the three-day tournament held at the par-70, 6,778—yard, River Course at Kingsmill Resort.
Sophomore Trey Wren topped the Owls and tied for 17th overall among the 117-golfers with a three-over 73. Red-shirt sophomore John Barone was two back (t36th) with a five over 75. Junior Mark Farley (77) and freshman Marty McGuckin (78) completed the scorers with red-shirt freshman Erik Reisner (80) rounding out the Temple quintet.
