Watchung, N.J. – Coming off a fourth-place finish at the GolfWeek Fall Challenge and a record-setting performance by all-Region honoree Conor McGrath, the Temple golf team heads to 6,911-yard, par-71 Watchung Valley Golf Club to take part in the 12-team Cornell Invitational.
Previewing the Tournament
> McGrath, who placed second among 93 golfers at the Golf Week Fall Challenge, set two school records at the season-opening tournament with a 13-under 203. He lads the Owls with a 67.7 stroke per round average.
> True freshman Ethan Whitney had a tremendous debut tournament, placing 21st overall and ranking second on the team with a 71.
