ELLINGTON, Conn. – Despite struggling on the back nine, Temple Golf was able to move up one spot to finish third among the 12-team field at the Connecticut Cup Saturday. The Owls were just one-over at the turn but went 12-over on the back nine were nine-over on their final three holes.
Recapping the Day
> Sophomore Graham Chase, who recorded his first par round of the season Friday, led the Owls with tied for ninth with a seven-over 223. Chase was two-under for his final round after 10 holes but was plagued by four bogeys over the final eight holes with three straight to end his round with a 74.
