Fifth-year senior Willie Rodgers joins the Owls from Washington State University where the 6-4, 55-lb. defensive lineman played his first four seasons.
Over his four years with the Cougars, Rodgers played in 34 games and compiled 53 tackles, 13.5 TFLs and 8.0 sacks. He was a starter for most of his sophomore and junior seasons in 2018-19. Rodgers recorded a career-high five tackles and one sack against Oregon in a breakout game in 2018.
After two games in 2020, Rodgers entered the transfer portal and ultimately found his way to Temple University where he will contribute to a historically strong defensive program.
