IRVING, Texas- After earning a 0-0 draw against Big Ten opponent Rutgers and a 3-1 victory over the Manhattan Jaspers, goalkeeper Eoin Gawronski and forward Nigel Griffith have been named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll. For Gawronski, it is the latest in an avalanche of accolades this season, while it is first award of the season for Griffith who earned AAC All-Rookie honors last year.
Gawronski starred yet again against Rutgers. The keeper earned his fourth career clean sheet in only nine starts against the Scarlet Knights, turning away three shots during the match.
