PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Four Owls earned Preseason All-Conference honors, the league office announced Thursday afternoon. Senior keeper Maryn Lowell led the team with two accolades, being named Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year and earning a spot on the Preseason All-Conference Team.
Joining Lowell on the Preseason All-Confernce Team is Maddie Gerbert, Kara Nakrasius, and Bridget Whitaker.
Lowell ranked fifth in the league in save percentage (.424) and in saves per game, averaging 7.12. The Poughquag, N.Y. native also came in second in ground balls per game (3.12). Her 50 ground balls last season tie for 10th in program history for ground bals in a season and her 384 career saves are seventh.
