The Owls took their third straight win on the road, pounding Charlotte 37-3 at Jerry Richardson Stadium. The Green Wave won their conference opener 45-31 over UCF.
The first 4-0 start in 40 seasons has been fueled by a return to what head coach Matt Rhule considers traditional Temple football. Junior running back Jahad Thomas has become the feature back that style demands.
