Field Hockey Drops First Match of Season at Kent State

KENT, Ohio – For the third straight match Temple field hockey played to a 3-0 decision. Friday, however, the Owls were on the losing end of the stick as host Kent State handed the Cherry and White its first loss of the season. Temple falls to 2-1 while KSU improves to 2-1.

Recapping the Game

> Both teams rattled off six shots in the opening quarter, but it was the last shot of the frame that found the back of the cage. Clara Seto Rodriguez pushed home a rebound off a shot by Emma Bressler to covert a penalty corner with just over three minutes on the clock.
