PHILADELPHIA - Five student-athletes have been chosen to make up the Leadership Team for the 2019 season under first-year head field hockey coach Susan Ciufo. Three specific roles have been assigned - Organizational Leader, Unity Leader and Commitment Leader, with two others serving as the Performance Captains and the Owls' leaders on game day.
The team has also chosen its motto for 2019, which is "Relentless."
"We are on a relentless pursuit to rise above," said Ciufo. "When asked to speak about what we want to represent and how we want to be viewed, the leaders of our team spoke immediately.
