PHILADELPHIA - The time has come once again for the annual Temple Fencing Open, which returns to main campus for a 39th year on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27-28 at the Liacouras Center. Temple head coach Dr. Nikki Franke, now in her 47th year at the helm, admits the tournament is always a lot of work to pull off but an exciting way to start each new year.
"We have about 500 fencers and approximately 30 schools represented at this year's Temple Open," said Franke.
