Fencing Finishes a Strong 4-2 at Penn State Invitational

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - In a long day of competition, Temple fencing came out with a strong winning record of 4-2 at the Penn State Invitational. The Owls (12-4) earned victories against Yale, Haverford, North Carolina and Duke, while falling only to defending national champion Columbia and to nationally ranked Penn State.

The scores for the day had Temple falling to Columbia 16-11, beating Haverford 25-2, beating UNC 18-9, edging Yale 14-13, losing narrowly to Penn State 14-13 and finishing the day with a win over Yale by a score of 16-11.
