SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Senior Mia Davis has been named to the 2021 Cheryl Miller Award watch list, as announced by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Wednesday afternoon.
The annual award in its fourth year recognizes the top small forwards in Women's NCAA Division I college basketball and is named in honor of three-time Naismith Player of the Year, Cheryl Miller.
Along with being named to the Cheryl Miller Award watch list for the second-straight season, Davis enters her fourth year on Broad Street as the American Athletic Conference co-Preseason Player of the Year and a top-25 candidate for the 2021 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year award.
