PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple men's crew team is through two days at the 2018 IRA National Championships at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. Finals will be contested on Sunday morning, beginning with the petite final of the lightweight four at 8:10 a.m.
> Temple opened the racing with a fifth place finish in its opening heat in 6:07.309, ahead of San Diego.
> The Owls' improved on their time in the repechage, clocking in at 5:49.884, outpacing Bates College.
> In the semifinals, they took fourth in a time of 6:01.310, ahead of Marist and San Diego.
