PHILADELPHIA -- After a long fall and winter season with competitive fall races, the 2022 Temple men's crew team will finally get back on the water for its first competition this Saturday with a scrimmage against Virginia. The exhibition with the Cavaliers is on the return leg of Temple's spring break training trip to Clemson, S.C.
"We are really excited about this group of men this year", said head coach Brian Perkins. "The team is starting to realize their speed this year and we are on aim to repeat last year's erg team."
The Owls look to follow up a successful 2021 season which included its first-ever Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta's Men's Points Trophy.
