IRVING, Texas- After a history-making 2-0 win over No. 2 SMU Saturday night, forward Mike Eijgendaal, defender, Pierre Cayet, and goalkeeper Eoin Gawronski have been honored by the American Athletic Conference. Eijgendaal has earned AAC Offensive Player of the Week, Cayet took AAC Defender of the Week, and Gawronski has been named AAC Goalkeeper of the Week for their efforts in the victory.
Eijgendaal claims the Midfielder of the Week award for his first time being honored by the conference. The sophomore transfer scored the opening goal of the match off a headed ball from Santiago Majewski.
