PHILADELPHIA – In celebration of Black History Month, president Dr. , vice president and director of athletics along with head coaches (women's basketball), (football) and (men's Basketball) sat down with Mayor Jim Kenney for a panel discussion entitled, Black Excellence in Leadership: and the City of Philadelphia.
The panel was held February 17 on center court of the Liacouras Center and hosted by David W. Brown, Diversity Advisor to the Office of the Dean of Temple's Klein College of Media and Communication and Nefertiri Sickout, Esq., city of Philadelphia's Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer. The panelists participated in an engaging discussion about leadership, race, culture, noting Mayor Kenney's commitment to advancing racial equity across his Administration, and the impact of on and in the City of Philadelphia.
