PHILADELPHIA - With a pair of 25-point efforts, senior Shizz Alston, Jr. and junior Quinton Rose led Temple men's basketball (3-0) past Georgia (1-1) by a score of 81-77 for the Owls' third straight win to start the season. Alston scored his 1,000th career point early in the second half, becoming the 53rd player in program history to do so.
