PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference announced today that both the 2021 and 2022 American Women's Basketball Championships will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The 2021 women's tournament will take place March 8-11, followed by the men's tournament on March 11-14 at Dickies Arena.
The 2021 women's tournament will be the first time since the conference's inception in 2013 that the championship will not be held Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. It also marks the first time in conference history that the American basketball tournaments will be held in the same city and at the same venue.
