GREENVILLE, N.C. - Robby Anderson and Jahad Thomas scored later fourth quarter touchdowns to lift #22/24 Temple to a come-from-behind 24-14 win at East Carolina Thursday night at Dowdy-Ficken Stadium. The win moves Temple to 7-0, the best start in program history, and 4-0 in American Athletic Conference play.
P.J. Walker was stellar down the stretch, connecting on 19-of-35 for 250 yards and one touchdown on the day. It was his 51-yard pass play to Anderson that set-up the Owls' go-ahead touchdown. Anderson had a season-best eight catches for 126 yards with his one touchdown, a 23-yard reception with 3:31 to play to give the Cherry and White a 17-14 lead.
