TCU Football is losing one of the gems of the 2017 signing class, as former four star wide receiver Omar Manning is leaving the program.
Manning, who redshirted his first season on campus after getting dinged up in the preseason, was the second highest-rated recruit of the signing class, behind sophomore wide receiver Jalen Reagor. According to Jeremy Clark of 247 Sports, Manning will leave Fort Worth for an undisclosed junior college to try and get back on track, before resuming his DI career at TCU - or another college.
Manning came in highly-touted, one of the true gems of what was one of the highest rated recruiting classes in TCU history; the 6’2” pass catcher out of Lancaster chose the Frogs over 26 other offers, including Alabama, Texas, Ohio State, and Auburn.
