WR Chase Van Wagoner enters transfer portal

Another TCU Football player is leaving the program, as redshirt freshman Chase Van Wagoner has entered the transfer portal, according to Jeremy Clark of 247 Sports.

A three star prospect, Van Wagoner signed with TCU out of Lovejoy High School in Lucas, TX over offers from 28 schools, including Arizona, Arizona State, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, and others. The 6’1”, 180 pound prospect was lauded for his speed, route running, and ability to get in the end zone - having scored ten touchdowns in each of his last two high school seasons.

One of five wide receivers to sign in 2018 - along with Tevaillance Hunt, John Stephens, Jr, Taye Barber, and Bryson Jackson - he is the second of that group to leave the program.
