It was probably not how they wanted to do it, but the TCU Horned Frogs tied the school record for consecutive victories Monday night at Schollmaier Arena.
Their 91-72 victory against Texas Southern marked their 16th straight win, tying a record from nearly 20 years ago.
“I’ve never been a part of anything like this,” said junior guard Alex Robinson, who had six points and seven assists.
But the No. 15 Frogs made it interesting, trailing twice by four points late in the first half against the winless Tigers (0-12) of the SWAC before lighting up a 50-point second half.
