TCU coach Gary Patterson agrees with the general consensus — his team has little to no shot of reaching the College Football Playoff.
The predictions web site fivethirtyeight.com puts the Horned Frogs’ chances at 7 percent.
“No, I don’t think so,” Patterson said Tuesday at his midweek press conference. “2014, I thought we were inside the top three. But this one, with the injuries and everything we have, I’m not sure that’s the case.”
He also knows what would be best for the Big 12.
