FORT WORTH - The Las Vegas sharpies have established TCU as a 39 1/2-point favorite for Saturday's home game against woeful Kansas.
It is the widest spread of the college weekend, six more than Alabama against Tennessee. It is the biggest edge given to the Frogs for a Big 12 game since November 2015, when they were a 46-point favorite against winless Kansas.
That game serves as a cautionary tale for the fourth-ranked Frogs (6-0, 3-0 in the Big 12).
TCU, ranked 13th and playing at home, was tied in the third quarter. The Frogs had to stop three Kansas possessions in the fourth quarter to get away with a 23-17 victory.
