An upset-filled weekend put a huge dent in our pool, leaving only 18 surviving entries headed into the Sweet 16. Only one-third of entrants that were alive after Round 1 are still active after Round 2.
Jim Boeheim’s zone eliminated our Horned Frogs and popular Final Four choice Michigan State from the Big Dance, claiming 24 Survivor Pool victims along the way. Sister Jean’s Loyola Ramblers were the next most lethal squad, booting 15 participants from our competition through two rounds.
