Ohio State scored two touchdowns on TCU turnovers and held on to beat the Horned Frogs 40-28 Saturday night at AT&T Stadium.
The No. 4 Buckeyes (3-0) took a 26-21 lead on Dre’Mont Jones’ interception on a shuffle pass which he returned 28 yards for a score with just under six minutes left in the third quarter.
Robinson connected with TreVontae Hights for a 51-yard scoring pass to pull TCU to within 33-28 at the end of the third quarter. The Buckeyes came right back to score on Dwayne Haskins’ 5-yard run to push the lead back to 40-28.
