Sophomore defensive end Tipa Galeai has been removed from the TCU Football roster after an incident on campus in late January.
Galeai, who was expected to compete for a starting position this spring, was charged with assault causing bodily injury, a misdemeanor, stemming from a January 21st issue where he is accused of attacking two students near P.E. Clark dorm on the TCU campus. According to a TCU police report filed, Galeai appeared “angry and extremely intoxicated” when he began yelling at a pair of male students near the intersection of Stadium and Bellaire Drive. He then proceeded to chase the two complainants to the Clark Residence Hall where he burst through the doors despite efforts to keep them closed and proceeded physically accost the two men.
