TCU coach Gary Patterson can’t talk about recruits by name, but it’s no secret this weekend’s matchup against Ohio State is important from the recruiting standpoint.
ESPN’s “College GameDay” is broadcasting live from campus, and the hope is it further boosts the profile of every program.
Several football targets are expected to attend the game at AT&T Stadium, and Patterson knows the No. 1 way to get them more interested in his program.
“You want to play well,” Patterson said. “That’s always a key for people. I’ve had kids reach out, here this week after last week, maybe we were off their radar, now we’re back on their radar and we haven’t even played [Ohio State] yet.
