The Amway/USA Today/Fajita Bowl/Nachos Coaches Poll is out, marking the begin of silly preseason poll season - but also a reminder that it is August which means FOOTBALL IS BACK.
Of all the silly preseason polls, none is more pointless than the coaches poll, as most NCAA Football coaches have far more to worry about this time of year than whether Texas is actually back or if Michigan will actually win something of consequence this fall.
As such, it’s no surprise that the first poll of the season comes with a lot of familiar names and few non-traditional powers.
