TCU coach Gary Patterson said the game plan against Arkansas by co-offensive coordinator Sonny Cumbie and the offensive staff “couldn’t have worked out better.”
The Horned Frogs won time of possession, ran for four touchdowns and limited Arkansas to 54 snaps in the 28-7 victory on Saturday.
“We limited them in possession time, which they’re not used to,” Patterson said Monday on the Big 12 coaches conference call. “It keeps your defense off the field and it doesn’t allow them to game-plan you as much because they do a great job of changing things up, seeing what you’re doing.
