Here's a look at the five best defensive backs returning to the Big 12 in 2018 (in no particular order). Do you see your favorite?
Jah'Shawn Johnson, safety, Texas Tech
Junior safety Jah'Shawn Johnson made 97 tackles in 2017, making him the leading tackler in the Big 12 from a secondary position. Averaging 7.5 tackles per game, his ability to bring guys down in space is pretty uncanny. He finished the year with five breakups, five deflections and a forced fumble. He'll be a major leader for the Red Raiders' defense in 2018.
Justus Parker, safety, Texas Tech
Another talented defensive back playing out of Lubbock, Parker's takeaway production earns him a spot on this list.
