TCU quarterback Shawn Robinson injured his left shoulder late in Saturday night’s game against Iowa State.
Robinson immediately grabbed his left shoulder after a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter, and headed to the locker rooms after a lengthy delay. Robinson kept the ball on a read option play, and sustained a big hit on his shoulder from Cyclones safety Greg Eisworth.
Robinson had put the Frogs in field goal range before exiting, and TCU went on to a 17-14 victory to snap a two-game losing streak.
The extent of Robinson’s injury is unknown, although TCU is entering an off week.
