Once again, a meeting in Fort Worth between TCU and Texas Tech basketball -- even with the pregame hype of “No Sit Saturday” -- didn’t quite feel like a home contest for the Horned Frogs.
On one note, there was the sizeable presence of Red Raiders fans who joined the party at Schollmaier Arena, generating “Raider Power” chants that were audible both in the building and on television.
Then there was the score, as Texas Tech once again asserted its dominance early en route to handing TCU an 81-66 loss, only creating yet another glaring hole in the Horned Frogs’ NCAA tournament resume down the stretch.
