Gary Patterson didn't hold back Saturday after TCU fell to Oklahoma, lambasting the officiating crew for a controversial intentional grounding call late in the game and Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield for comments the player made in an ESPN article over the summer.
But that changed Tuesday during his weekly press conference, when Patterson spoke unprompted by media members on the comments he made post-game.
"One of the things that makes me good at what I do is that I'm passionate about how I do things -- how I coach and how I play," Patterson said.
