The Frogs finally got out to an early lead tonight. That’s been a rare occurrence this year, but it was an encouraging sign on the road where this team has often failed to impress. Over 4 2⁄3 innings they managed five hits and their first home run since the Shriner’s College Classic. Dalton Horton and Trey Morris combined for a shutout over four innings, allowing just three hits and two walks.
It might actually prove to be a good thing that the game was cut short, because Nick Skeffington was putting together a solid start for the Wildcats.
