Picked to finish 3rd in the Big 12 preseason poll, you could say that TCU Soccer has over-achieved thus far in 2020.
But the way the Horned Frogs have been playing so far in this oddest of seasons, it doesn’t feel like their over-achieving — they’re just that good.
Led by a premiere goal-keeper in Emily Alvarado, who has allowed just one score all season, and superstars Yazmeen Ryan and Messiah Bright, the Frogs play hard, play fast, and don’t seem to be flustered no matter who is lining up against them.
Their only stumble of the season was a scoreless tie in Waco — the first action the program had seen against another team since last fall.
