Everyone knows that the coaches don’t watch football, but it seems even they are finally giving the Frogs a little love in the poll. After failing to break into the top ten after a double digit upset over then #7 Oklahoma State, TCU made the jump today, going from 11th to 10th in the Week Five poll.
The Frogs remain behind ‘powerhouses’ Wisconsin and Ohio State according to coaches who don’t watch games, probably on the strength of big wins over a bye week and Rutgers (which is basically a bye week). For whatever reason, people stay in love with a subpar Big 10 conference and these two teams, who have yet to earn a win over a ranked opponent this year - meanwhile the Frogs have two Power Five wins on the road, including one over a team that was ranked sixth.
