Desmond Bane led the way with a career-high 27 points as TCU swept Iowa State.
“Me and my teammates are in it together,” said Bane, whose previous career high was 24 points . “Tonight just happened to be my night. All the credit to my teammates.”
Bane led the way, but he had plenty of help from his friends.
Alex Robinson scored 18 points with six assists and Kouat Noi added 17 for the Horned Frogs (19-9, 7-8 Big 12), who reached seven wins in league play for the first time since they went 7-7 in the Mountain West Conference in 2012.
