When asked about Cumbie and the coaching staff, Patterson noted that fans would have to wait until the end of the season for a potential change.
“I think it’s in poor taste when people gets fired in the middle of the season,” Patterson said. “And that’s not saying that I’m doing anything, I’m just saying that it’s not fair to anybody.”
