A.J. Balta homered for TCU, but Nolan Kingham was pretty much dominant for the Longhorns as TCU fell 3-2.
Texas junior Nolan Kingham tossed a six-hit complete game as Texas cooled off TCU 3-2 Thursday night in Austin in the opener of a pivotal series between the two Big 12 clubs.
It was a sloppy game for TCU when they could least afford one.
TCU issued 10 combined free bases (four hit batters, four walks and two errors) in the game leading to two of the three Texas runs.
