Over the last few weeks, Donati said other schools -- including others in a “Power Five” athletic conference -- showed interest in him. But he decided to stay at TCU, where he was being groomed to be Del Conte’s eventual replacement.
“It’d be really silly to want to look elsewhere,” Donati said. “The fact that I know the staff so well, the fact that I know the donors so well, it’s an easy fit -- at least from my end.
