SMU is on the rise under Chad Morris, while Baylor is likely looking at a few down years after their legal issues over the past year plus. But neither team is likely to pose too much of a threat this coming season. I would argue that the Frogs have no better rival than Texas Tech currently, one that is vitriolic across all three major sports.
Including Boise State and BYU, two teams TCU could very well never play again, and didn’t play all that often, is... questionable.
