TCU went 2-1 in the MLB4 tournament this weekend, knocking off Virginia and Vanderbilt after a season-opening loss to Cal State Fullerton. JUCO transfer and Sunday starter Brandon Williamson talked about TCU’s resiliency after that first loss.
“Our motto for the year is ‘Something to prove,’” he said. “When you come out like that and get shut out right away, it said a lot about our team whether we were going to roll over or pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and get back after it. Not for once did we think we were out of it.
