The TCU men’s tennis team is on a mission and they once again were able to take down an opponent in convincing fashion. The Frogs faced off against Illinois in Athens, Georgia in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament and came away with the 4-1 win.
The action got started with TCU taking a 1-0 lead in the match by securing the doubles point. Alex Rybakov and Guillermo Nuñez, the #57 doubles pair in the nation, were the first to get on the board, defeating Zeke Clark and Aleks Kovacevic 6-3 on Court 2. The Frogs then won the doubles point when Cam Norrie and Trevor Johnson took down Aron Hiltzik and Gui Gomes 6-4 on Court 3.
