On Wednesday afternoon, the Horned Frogs picked up a commitment from Smithson Valley cornerback Trevon Moehrig-Woodard.
A three-star prospect, Moehrig-Woodard picked TCU over offers from Arizona, Baylor, Georgia, Missouri, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and others.
At 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Moehrig-Woodard is ranked as the No. 36 cornerback in the country and No. 56 overall prospect in the state, according to 247Sports Composite.
TCU now has five verbal commits in its 2017 class.
