TCU head coach Gary Patterson didn't elaborate on the condition of the Horned Frogs' leading rusher, Darius Anderson, who went down in the second quarter of last Saturday's game vs. Oklahoma.
Anderson was helped off the field with a right foot injury and was later seen walking around on the sideline in a walking boot.
Patterson said postgame that Anderson would "probably" miss the rest of the regular season -- a trip to Texas Tech and the Frogs' home finale vs. Baylor.
But on Monday's Big 12 coaches teleconference, Patterson seemed less absolute.
"We'll know by this weekend whether he's ready to go or not," Patterson said.
