TCU sophomore guard Desmond Bane will be out for eight weeks after undergoing surgery to reconstruct a ligament in his left thumb, the school announced Friday.
Bane sustained the injury during off-season workouts. He averaged 7.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per game last season.
